about animalsos
Animalsos's goal is to provide knowledge and facts to the public, we are not here to force beliefs on people about becoming vegetarian or vegan. We merely want people to take their own initiative and research things that affect them and their world directly:
- Reducing pet euthanising (neutering and spaying your pets)
- Where your meat comes from
- Climate change
- Small changes you can make in your life to benefit your family and your world
- How to reduce usage of chemicals and detergents
- Environment safe products
What is Animalsos?
Animalsos is currently a trademarked information business as we are working to have the website and basic running of the 'soon to be non-profit organisation' completed before applying for Government approval. The purpose of Animalsos is to educate people and become a point of information and support for animals worldwide and the environment Animalsos is an all audience project, the website will be split into two parts animalsos and animalsos4kids. Animalsos will begin as an interactive information based site, to keep people up to date on related world issues, events and ways to make a difference even by starting in their own home and backyard. Animalsos4kids will be an involved learning site for children of all ages. With puzzles, art, games and facts about animals and the environment.
It is important to teach children as the future generation, but to make an impact on adults to start the process straight away and make a difference. What happens today affects children’s lives tomorrow and in the future.
When did Animalsos begin?
In mid 2005, with only low expectations of creating a small website to help advertise animal and environmental organisations. Upon meeting various people, volunteers from organisations such as AnimalAsia and Wspa, the expectations for animalsos have grown. With the help of TheOxygenKiosk, in alliance with animalsos, only now is beginning to grow into something much larger..
It is unfortunate that the animalsos’s website is beginning on a sad note of Steve Irwin’s death (Monday 4th September 2006). As Steve Irwin was (and still is) a huge inspiration, and one of the main motivations for this organisation. Steve Irwin, and people such as Jane Goodall, and Craig (owner of Zion Wildlife gardens NZ), are one in a million, they give up their lives and every day luxuries, to save animals, conserve land, teach people and protect the defenceless.
The Animalsos Team: Is based upon a selection of people from different points of the globe who have a similar interests and goals to make a difference by providing knowledge to the public.
All our thanks go out to the people and friends who are supporting and helping anyway they can to ensure animalsos keeps growing!
